Already soon 17 years since we opened our first guest house in Carcassonne !
Flo and Jean-Michel are happy to welcome you at “the good life” in a mansion built in 1820 in the village of Montreal, stopover town on the way to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, located on a hill, close to the magnificent city of Carcassonne, of the Canal du Midi and the Cathar castles.
Montreal known for its history illustrating a medieval era is a very pleasant village with a very pretty collegiate church.
We are in the Massif de la Malepère therefore surrounded by vines of the Malepère cru, 7km from the canal du midi.
There are many hiking trails and we have all the amenities in the village, including three restaurants in 100 meters from the house.
We offer you, in the heart of the village, 4 spacious and refined guest rooms. They offer comfortable bedding with private bathroom and toilet, television, wifi, terraces and to relax a swimming pool, parking and a view of the Pyrenees on one side and the black mountain on the other.
We will be happy to guide you to the most beautiful sites in our region, which are numerous !
Bicycles are at your disposal for walks.
Gastronomy
We will do everything to make your stay pleasant, will prepare you gourmet breakfasts (with homemade pastries and jams) and the night, after a day that you may have spent discovering the thousand and one treasures of the Cathar country, you can relax on the terraces or laze by the swimming pool while enjoying an aperitif, before taking a seat at the Table d'Hôtes to share conviviality and local gastronomy.
